Traditional Thai massage combines gentle stretching techniques with pressures along the energy lines of the body in order relieve stress, physical tensions, fatigue. Traditional Thai massage has an uplifting effect on your overall well-being by unblocking obstructions of your energy flow and providing deep relaxation of both body and mind.
During the massage the therapist can use thumbs, fingers, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to put pressure on the energy lines, varying intensities.
The massage always takes place on the floor, with the recipient lying on a mat, remaining fully and comfortably dressed during all the massage.
Every session is designed and adapted to the needs and limitations of each client.
1 Hour: 30 euro, in Espaço “Vidas com Arte”, VRSA, Algarve, Portugal /55 euro for a home visit.
2 Hours: 50 euro, in Espaço “Vidas com Arte”, VRSA, Algarve, Portugal /70 euro for a home visit*.
*Please note that a traditional Thai massage lasts normally for two hours.
Relaxing Massage

A relaxation massage uses smooth, gliding strokes applied with aromatics oils. The main purpose is to help you relax while the massage therapist moves at a slow pace and uses light pressure.
The emphasis is more on enjoying the tension releasing from your muscles than working on serious knots. Even though there is still some substantial health benefits to a relaxation massage. By relaxing the body, the massage allows the nervous system to calm down, promoting a sense of well-being; this improves your blood circulation, stimulates the body’s lymphatic system, which carries away waste products; it re-energizes all the systems of your body, bringing relaxation to your body and mind.
Available in full body massage or localized.

Therapeutic massage

Although a therapeutic massage is often relaxing, the goal is to benefit your health and long-time issues by improving muscle tone, increasing flexibility, releasing knots; it alleviates chronic pain; it loosens muscles.
The techniques employed are different from the relaxing massage and the work will be directed towards the special needs/requests of the client. This is why therapeutic massage is often a local massage. Everybody can benefit from this kind of massage, regardless to age or health condition.

We use pur and organic oils for all our Ayurvedic massages, according to your "dosha" (body type- constitution)
